I started getting BSODs on a regular basis recently (your Bios is not
ACPI compliant, windows is halting), but now it will not boot into XP
at all, even safe mode.

I decided it was time to do a fresh install, as I have been running for
10 months since I built my machine. I have an Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe and
have been using the SATA raid on 2 250gig Maxtor drives (NTFS). I have
made no upgrades to my machine since it was new and used the same
drivers (F6 on setup start) and CD (XP sp2) I originally used to
install this machine. On reboot, 0x0000007B.

At this point, I downloaded the drivers from the Asus website... no
go. dropeed back to an original XP (no sp) cd from another machine I
have... no go. Use the drivers to create a BARTPE cd... works great.
I can see the hard drive and all 400gb of files (which is why I don't
want to re-format). attached to my other machine over the network and
initiated the install, drivers in the $OEM$ folder... reboot...
0x0000007B.

What am I missing? I've used SeaTools to verify my HDDs are fine,
Memtest86+ to verify my RAM is fine, BARTPE to verify my drivers are
fine, and different CDs with and without service packs. I've verified
my bios settings and even reset them to defaults and set the machine
back up. I've even cleaned the machine and reseated all the
components.

I'm out of ideas. Anyone out there have a suggestion?
