Was reading article about AMD introducing 64 bit CPU's and releasing them
mainstream for home users, and pricing in the same range as current cpu
prices. Has anyone read about the performance of these cpu's?

There's a hell of a lot of stuff online. Choose a hardware review site at
random, and there'll be something on the AMD64.
