503 Authentication error

I am unable to send from my Outlook e-mail account. When
I select send/receive I receive email just fine. But the
send mail fails and I receive a message indicating 503
authentication error.

Please help me. I very much need to be able to send mail.

If your e-mail account is not with the ISP that you are connecting with then sometimes you will not be able to send messages. If it is not with your ISP then call your tech support for that ISP and get the Outgoing Smtp Server Address and change that setting in your account properties.
