500 OOPS close error message . . . what is the problem?

Uploading a graphis to my website calles Apri2.jpg. Freezes then I get this
error message . . . 500 OOPS Close. When I click OK FP closes the webpage and
returns a blank page.

I am also having difficulty publishing updates to a page called value.htm;
FP indicates that the update has been published but in reality, it is not.
Then when on the phone with my ISP we did a page refresh from I.E. and it
shows the file with 0 kb.

Do any of you have any suggestions or solutions for these perplexing problems.

Go here: http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm and download FP Cleaner.

Run the functions that clear the FrontPage Temporary files, and the Cache (.web) files

Then open FrontPage, open your web, click Tools > Recalculate hyperlinks.
When it's done, publish your web and see what happens.

I followed this procedure and it may or may not have helped. It is too soon
to tell. It appears that my ISP is having the same prpblem and the trouble
appears to be on their end. However I have installed the pcclean program on
my computer and will use it from time to time as warrants.

Thank You.
