this printer was on a novell network connected to the server.
everything was fine.
novell is gone and windows 2003 server is installed.
workstation inherited the printer and is local to lpt1
whenever a dos programs print job is more than two pages, they have to press
the Go button to spit it out.
any ideas?

thanks in advance.

Using the front panel buttons, go to the Paper Handling Menu and set
Manual Feed to Off.

Hi!

Make sure the program is specifying a "page eject" command at the end of
each page. Perhaps it is not doing this.

jd,
whenever a dos programs print job is more than two pages, they have to
press
the Go button to spit it out.

make sure also the DOS application is closing the LPT1: port at the end of
the print job.
