4:3 Powerpoint - 16:9 projector

Our new projector and screen will be 1400 x 1050 - 16:9 only. Of
course everybody here is used to creating Powerpoint presentations for
standard 4:3. My questions for the group are:

1) What is best way to convert pre-existing PP presentations to 16:9?

2) What is best way to create PP for 16:9 1400 x 1050 resolution LCD
projector display?
