3rd Party Applications Built in to deployment

Can you add a 3rd party application to your deployment image?

I'd like to be able to make a standard deployment for all my images, and use
that one image for everything. I'd also like to be able to update that image
with new software if a new job requires changes to an existing image. How
easy is that? Has anyone tried this with the new verison of Windows XP/Vista
Embedded?

If you are talking about installing applications after the iamge has been
built, the answer is you can so long as you have the Windows Installer
Service component in the image.

You can also create components for the applications and make them part of
the image build.

Can you have the application as part of the build? I want the application to
be installed when they install Windows. I basically want it like Calculator
where it's installed automatically rather than having to install it after
Windows is installed. I've seen Dell do this with their images. They'll
have their applications put on their images. Like free trials for AOL or
free anti virus. Maybe they have a special agreement with Microsoft.
