I'm trying to get a 3D Prophet 4000XT PCI card to work on my friends PC.

When I do a test in DXDiag (V.9b) it fails.

I get the following messages:

I have no idea where to start. I've uninstalled & reinstalled the card
several times, and it has the latest set of drivers (originals fail aswell)

Any ideas??

I had a similar issue with a Prophet Vid Card about a year ago. When I
installed it, there was no recognition at all. I called the suuport line for
the Computer Maker( Daewoo or something like that). They said that card was
not compliant with the intel chipset that was on the Mobo.

I hope that helps out a little
