That's got to be fake surely?!

I'm guessing he's not heard of autostereoscopic displays then... but to be fair his version is far more amusing!

he needs a very fast screen to display the picture ... sorry, an LCD/TFT ain't fast enough, would need plasma at least.

We only have his word on the demo,didn`t even see the screen.

Why is it that the TV/Film industry is falling over it self to get into 3D.Isn`t the system old tecnology it`s been around I believe from the first films.
Has there been no work done shooting films in holographic form?
I remember,many years ago now,going to an exhibition in Convent Garden of pictures taken in hologram. At the show was a small exibit showing a lady,I think she was in a shower!!, and as you moved your head you could look behind her,it was great. It was only in B/W but at the time we thought....this could be the future of filming. (No! not filming nude ladies in showers!!)
But in all the passing years there seems that nothing has come of it. Does any one know any more re: holographic filming?
