Vista x64 runs 32-bit games in a 32-bit WoW layer designed expressly for
this. The only ones you might not be able to run are those few that use a
device driver, in which case it would have to be explicitly written for x64.
Dosbox runs old DOS games on Vista 64. To test it I ran
Wolfenstein3d on Vista 64. Slightly blocky, but it actually
looks good on a 22" widescreen LCD. Wolf3d uses direct
hardware access for sound, but Dosbox takes care of that
perfectly.
