3 Machines To Register/Activate

Hi,

I loaded 3 machines I use at home as a video editor. I bought and used one
XP Home full version CD and did it from clean formatted drives.

I obviously need to purchase two other licenses or CD's. I found I could
purchase full versions of XP Home as OEM at this link for $119.00
http://www.discount-software.ws/microsoft/windows-xp-home-oem.html

I have two questions:

1). Can I use this OEM version to get registered/activated?

2). Can I do it without really loading them on my PC's? Everything is
already working great. I just need the activation keys.

Thanks for your help!

1. One cannot use an OEM Product Key with a Retail Version of XP.
2. You will need to perform a "repair install" using the OEM CD & Key.

Hi Mike, thanks for the quick reply! I read the info at the link. I'm
still unclear if there's a chance I won't have to reload my programs after
the repair install. I do understand nothing is guaranteed. :)

Can you tell me if there's a chance I won't have to reload all my programs?
Thanks,

George Emslie

Is there a chance when I load the new OEM XP Home on my current XP Home
installation (following the Repair process to get my 2 machines activated),
the Repair process will not affect the programs I have loaded on each
machine already. Is there a better chance the Repair process will cause me
to have to reload all of my programs? :(

Thanks for your help!

George
