3 companies, 3 email address

I understand it is possible to have several inboxes within outlook, but is it
possible to automatically reply using the mail box that the email came from??
let me explain..

Inbox A: email address: (e-mail address removed)
Inbox B: email address: (e-mail address removed)
Inbox C: email address: (e-mail address removed)

If the user opens an email from inbox A, it automatically uses the email
address (e-mail address removed) when replying, likewise if the user opens an email
from Inbox C, outlook automatically uses email (e-mail address removed) when replying.
Or does the user need to select from the "FROM" option?

What type of accounts? What version of Outlook? Outlook will always reply
using the account by which a message was received. There's no way to tie an
account to a folder, however. The From field has no purpose unless you're
using Exchange. You use the Accounts button to choose the sending account.

I used have a similar setup and from memory the reply is sent using the name
of the mailbox into which the mail was delivered. So if you open an email
addressed to (e-mail address removed) then the reply will be delivered using
(e-mail address removed).

Also, when you reply, you have the option of clicking the "Account" button
and selecting the appropriate account. You will then see a notification in
the new mail message that says "this will be sent using (e-mail address removed)".
This just allows you to select a different mail account if you wish.

I just checked it quickly and it picks up the address to which the mail was
sent. You do have the option to change the account as I described

Replies use the same account through which an e-mail was received
except if that account no longer exists in which case the default
account gets used to send the reply.

If you want to see through which account an e-mail was received, add
the E-mail Account column in the view of a folder.
