2Wire Wireless USB Adapter

Problem Description: I UPGRADED TO WINDOWS XP FROM WINDOWS
ME. SINCE THAT TIME I GET A STOP ERROR MESSAGE: DRIVER
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_MORE 0X000000D1 (0X0283FF18, 0X00000002,
0X000000001, 0XF78D1E6F) USBUHCI.SYS ADDRESS F79D1E6F BASE
@ F79CF000 DATE STAMP 3d6ddc30. This message comes on the
BSOD. I REBOOT THE COMPUTER IN SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING
AND I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH THE NETWORK CONNECTION. IF I
REBOOT THE COMPUTER IN REGULAR MODE I GET THE STOP ERROR.
IF I DISCONNECT THE 2WIRE WIRELESS ADAPTER FROM THE USB
PORT, I GET NO ERROR MESSAGE BUT OF COURSE THE NETWORK IS
NOT CONNECTED.
Problem Area: Can't connect to the network
Frequency of problem: Always Happens
Operating system / version: Windows XP

It looks like there's a problem with the driver program for the 2Wire
Wireless USB adapter. Try this to fix it:

1. Boot in Safe mode with networking.

2. Go to Device Manager.

3. Un-install the 2Wire Wireless USB adapter.

4. Un-plug the adapter from the computer.

5. Restart in normal mode.

6. After the system starts normally, plug in the adapter and let the
system re-install it.
