2nd request! Mouse!!!

Running xPro/ w all updates: THEN right after SP2...

Serial mouse it started 'sticking' etc. Is 'draggy', slow to respond,
sometimes even freezes for awhile.

ACTION of mouse (and sound if involved) comes milliseconds after
click.

So got a CREATIVE OPTICAL usb mouse. Even though it installed (plug&)
w/no prob. IT is doing the same thing!

Troubleshooter said it might be corrupted driver. I deleted and
rebooted. Still the same mouse prob.

Can anyone PLEASE help???

Be sure to go to Add/Remove Programs and remove any keyboard / mouse
software such as Logitech or Microsoft. Also go to the Device Manager and
remove any mice or keyboards listed. Reboot and that should fix the
problem.

Sounds like something is using the cpu to the max.
Hit ctrl alt delete and look in the processes tab to see what is using the
cpu. Look at "system idle processes" and let us know what it is at.
