2nd License

I have installed and activated XP Home addition on one
computer, and would now like to install it on a second
computer in my house. Can I purchase an second license
from Microsoft, or do I have to to the store and buy a new
box?

Thanks

You will probably find that a second retail purchase will be priced
lower than what Microsoft charges for a second license.

Good luck

You can buy additional licenses, assuming you have a retail
license. Naturally, Microsoft cannot sell additional OEM licenses. Be
aware, however, that you'll probably pay more this way than you would
if you were to buy a second copy of WinXP from a discount retailer;
Microsoft will only offer you a 15% discount off their MSRP.
