2nd hard Drive "not initialized"

Just installed new WD 80G hard drive as slave but "new
hardware found" never came up. It shows in the DEVICE
manager but will not show as a drive letter in "my
Computer" and when I "populate" the drive it says "not
initialized" Thanks

I am assuming that you both have checked the jumpers on your Master drives
to ensure they are set up as Master on the IDE, and that the jumpers are
correctly set on the slaves?

Go to control panel, administrative tools, computer management, storage,
disk management.

From there you should be able to initialize the disk and do whatever else
you need.
