2K Server, Dynamic Disks reporting false size

I have a Windows 2000 server that is updated with the latest patches and
service packs. The server has two 250 GB ATA drives. They are set up as
dynamic drives for mirroring. After they were changed to Dynamic drives, I
noticed that they are reporting a size of 128 GB. I did not notice the
reported size prior to changing them to Dynamic. The system BIOS shows the
drives as 250 GB.

Why does 2K not report the full size of the disks?
