I found this on my desk top and have no idea what it is
or how it got there. Under properties it says that it is
a file and the size is 184kb.Any help with this would be
greatly appreciated.
Thank You

Some quirk from using Outlook Express. It is safe to delete the file. A
future update of OE will eliminate this quirk.

Hi Mary - Well, not a quirk exactly. It's a bug that was created in the
last OE cumulative update hotfix. What it is is a misnamed copy of your
Address Book. If you change the extension to .wab and open it in Notepad,
you'll see this. You can delete it, hide it by changing the files's
attribute or just ignore it. If you delete it, it will (probably) be
recreated the next time you close OE after having made an Address Book
change (although not necessarily on your Desktop - it's been know to appear
elsewhere also). I would just ignore it and be glad of having an automatic
backup, but then again, that's what's nice about free will.
