256mb mp3 mem stick

Hi all,
I have accidently formatted my mp3 mem stick and now will not play anything..it just shows 'unformat in the display' ..can anyone tell me how or if I can unformat using xp pro. The only instructions I have are in chinese

Windows XP does not have tools to unformat anything.
You need a 3rd party application to retrieve the data.
