24-Hour Clock Display

Can anyone help me to change the clock on the taskbar to
24-Hour Clock Display? Also, I have seen someone showing
the date of the week on the taskbar too, does anyone have
a clue? Thanks!

Try TClock, It is a free utility which will do all you want and a few more
things. And it is much!! easeir than hacking Windows.

You can change the time format by going to Control Panel - Regional and Language
Options. From here, select the Regional Options Tab, then under standards and
formats click the customize button. Under Time you can select 24hr time format.
To display the day you will need to expand the Task Bar upwards. Unlock the
taskbar by right clicking on it and selecting unlock taskbar, then resize the
taskbar to double height by dragging the top of it upwards.

Hi, Pete.

Hover your mouse over the clock. You should see a popup that says "Tuesday,
July 15, 2003", for example.

Grab the top of the taskbar with your mouse (double-pointed arrow) and drag
it upward a line or two. When the Taskbar is two lines high, you should see
Tuesday; 3 (or more) lines will give 7/15/2003.

(Of course, you can do a lot more things with the Taskbar, like drag it to
the side or top of your screen - but I digress.)

I think there's a way to show the clock in 24-hour (or military) format, but
I can't recall how just now. Maybe someone else will jump in and remind us
both.

Click Start, Control Panel,
Date, Time, Language and Regional Options,
Click Regional and Language Options,
Click Customize and the Time tab,
In the time format slot, Capital H is 24 hour time,
Capitol HH gives you a leading 0 for single digit time.

Right click the task bar and un-select Lock Task bar,
move your cursor over the upper edge to see a double arrow and drag up to
double width to see the date and day of the week.
