The clock in the taskbar displays time in the 24 hour format.How can I change
that to AM-PM format?

Start | Control Panel | Regional and Language Options.

Help and Support in XP is very useful. Go to Start | Help and Support and
see what's there. Search on time, for example.

Control Panel|Regional and Language Options. Click the "Customize..."
button, then click the "Time" tab.
