I can't get the seconds on the clock to display on the desktop, I can only
get the clock's hour and minute's to display on the taskbar, how do you get
the seconds
also to show on the taskbar on ny desktop.

Dont think you can.. probably you can download a clock addon for xp
that better suits your needs. google it.

I've used TClockEx in WinXP for almost one year and it's great (and
free). Does exactly what you want.

Alternatively, switch to Linux. I'm writing this from Ubuntu 6.06 which
shows a clock with (optional) seconds.
