200GB WD Hard Drive Question

I just tried to replace my slave 120 Gig drive with a new 200Gig WD drive.
But, My Win XP won't recognize anything over 137 GB and says I will lose
data. I have installed SP1 and all the updates. It is an Intel 845D
motherboard. Damn, I must be missing something...
Any ideas??
Thanks,
J.

Your motherboard's BIOS may be limiting you. You didn't say which
motherboard or BIOS version you are using.

There is a very minor change needed to the registry.

Just go to WD's web site and search for the patch. I don't remember the name
for it, but WD has a simple file to run that will make the change in the
reg. for you.

It's very simple.
