I've got I open and the Track Changes is always turned on. When I exit Word
and open other docs later, it's off (trk grey) - preferable. But then I open
this particular doc it gets turned on (trk black) - undesirable.

There are no macros in the doc that I can find.

I figured it out. I FIGURED IT OUT! I'm so happy with myself.

I was cleaning all the confidential stuff out to email the file. I was in
the File > Properties box and clicked on the Custom tab. There were three
custom fields that I can't find info on in MSKB.

_ReviewCycleID - a Number field
_ReviewingToolsShownOnce - a Text field
_EmailEntryID - a Text field

It's the first two that are always turning the Track Changes on. I suspect
this will also fix problems whether the document was mailed from MS Word File
Send to > Mail Recipient (for Review) or Sent from Outlook where the sender
has the Tools > Options > Preferences tab > Email Options button > Advanced
Email Options > Add properties to attachments to enable Reply with Changes
selected.
