2003 Mailbox never closes properly

*Almost* every time I start OL2003, I get the message that the mailbox was
not closed properly and is being checked for problems. I've gotten in the
habit of clicking File, Exit and waiting five minutes before shutting down
my PC to give it time. I never shut down when the systray icon is still
present.

I'm running XP Pro SP1 with all updates, Office/Outlook 2003 SP1. I'm
running in cached Exchange Mode and I use RPC/HTTP when away from the
office. Everything works perfectly except for this recurring problem.

Any ideas would be apprectiated - it's starting to bug me. TIA.

After switching to cached mode myself, I've started experiencing the same
issue myself. I've confirmed that after closing Outlook there are no
processes named outlook running in my process list. I'm running XPSP2 and
OL2003 with all the updates.
