2000pro/XPpro peer to peer?

R

RMD

I've got a 2000pro and a XPpro system networked together with a peer to peer
workgroup named "RDMD". On the 2000 system I can see and access both
computers shared folders under "My Network Places\Microsoft Windows
Network\Rdmd". But on the XPpro system when I click on the 2000pro system in
"My Network Places\Microsoft Windows Network\Rdmd" I get the following error

"\\Desktop is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this
resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have
access permissions.

The network path was not found."

I presume this is a permissions setting in the 2000pro system, but I can't
find it?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks
Rick

If you are using Norton Antivirus look in the Event Logs on both machines to
see if there are any errors that refer to irpstacksize or Lanmanserver.
