2000 will not start-kenneth

the startup stops when it asks for username and domain (or webpage)i installed this over
windows ME and do not have a network, so i can not open windows 2000. i have installed disk in remote device so that i can read all files on this xp computer, but cant find any mention of this "stop" or a startup menu.

You've told us nothing of the problem except it sounds like you upgrade from
WinME? There is no supported upgrade path from WinME to Windows 2000
