2000 pro administrator and password

I tried to get rid of the password box every time I turned
my machine on. I goofed, and now I have a password I don't
know.
How can I get onto my machine? I can't even get the
machine open so as to put a clean install of windows 2000?

If you want a clean install, you dont need windows 2000
to boot... boot from windows 2000 cd and make a fresh
install...

To boot from a cd, the boot sequence must be right in the
BIOS... you probably wants something like..Floppy
drive,Cd-rom drive, Hard-drive... then! insert the Cd-rom
and reboot...when it reboot, you'll see a message like
Please Press a Key Now To Boot From CD... Press a Key and
thats it... you have your new windows installation!!!
