Goal: to establish a home network using new computer with
Windows 2000 Professional and old computer with 98.
Connection through a router has been confirmed to be
working. HOWEVER, the 2000 has a problem seeing the 98---
and the 98 apparently sees the 2000 but requires a
password for access to the 2000. Configuration has been
checked and rechecked! I have set no password
requirements. I could use help and perhaps instructions to
start again from scratch with updated instructions. Please
help!!!
