2000 DNS and win98 clients

We are preparing to migrate our DNS servers (off of Unix,
really old version of BIND) onto Windows 2000 dns
servers. Are there any issues with name resolution on
Win95, 98 systems using the 2000 DNS?
THanks.

No. DNS is (largely) DNS in terms of CLIENTS.

The newer versions, including Windows 2000 DNS, just have
more features which are required to support AD.

The issues are with the older DNS servers you are leaving.

Herb is right, not to mention that Windows 9x systems generally don't use
DNS in most circumstances. The Windows 9x platform is all about NetBIOS
name resolution.
