Hello, a friend is running XP Home on her laptop and decided that she wanted
to backup her information. She went to start/all programs/accessories/system
tools but there is no backup utility. XP was installed when she ordered the
machine from Gateway and she is not sure if she has the install disks. Is
there anyway to install the backup utility from Windows 2000 onto her XP
laptop? If not, what backup programs do you recommend, the less expensive
the better, free and good is best.

Thanks

Kevin

By default, the backup program is not installed on XP Home. Bob Cerelli's
site will tell you how to extract it from her CD or [take the easy way]
download a copy from there. Go here:
