/?%20 shows between http:// and the address I type

Usually, this is true for sites that don't exist (ie. I
type the incorrect address), but sometimes when sites
time out, this will also occur. The usual fix is to add
the www before what I type, but this is not always the
case. I have Lavasoft's Ad-Aware to remove all spy-
/malware, so that's apparently not the problem... anyone
have a solution?

I have the same problem and have spent 4 days trying to
fix with everything already suggested over the last few
days. At first I thought it was to do with internet
optimizer trojan which sent me to yoogee.com search. Once
the jrojan was removed this problem occured. If I
reinstall the trojan I get yoogee.com search (but its
terrible).
I am now beginning to think it was a microsoft software
patch that started this.
