Have to type HTTP

Well, I have never had the problem you describe, but I use
this all the time. Just type the domain name and hold Ctrl
while hitting the Enter key. That will add the http:// and
the .com to your entry automatically. Very handy shortcut!

Hopefully someone can help me here. I ran ad aware to
remove ad popup software, and now the only way I can get
to an address in Internet Explorer is by typing HTTP:''
before the address....I used to be able to just type the
www address. How can I fix this?

Thank you. I can see that works. I was just hoping to figure out how to get it back to normal. It seemed that there was an assumption that it made regarding http and now it doesn't do that.
Thank you for the work around, it does work and is a great shortcut
