2 windows instalations!?

The other day i installed windows XP again over the
existing windows folder and now when i boot my computer
up i get a message saying:

Ciaran,

Go to the Control Panel and open the System applet. Click the Advanced tab
and under Startup and Recovery click Settings. Click the Edit button on the
screen that appears. If both entries are identical under the [operating
systems] line, then just remove the bottom one. Then close the document and
say Yes when it asks you if you would like to save the changes. Click OK
twice and then restart the computer and verify that the changes have been
successful.
