in previous versions of Outlook, I was able to have my
own views and settings while sharing a single .PST file.
Now with Outlook 2003, when the other person makes a
change like turning off the 'Reading Pane', it makes the
same change to my Outlook 2003 as well.
Is there any way to turn this feature off?

Thanks!

1. You cannot "share" a .pst file unless each person opens it while the
other instance is closed.

2. Outlook 2003 saves the customizations made while it is open. This is the
default behavior.
