2-sided pages

[HELP!!]

I find I'm unable to print 2-sided pages utilizing Win XP
Home Edition. I cannot find anything relative to it in
any programs. Windows 98 made it very simple to use 2-
sided printed pagination, but this XP has me stopped.
Can anyone help me.

Hi, Frustrated ...

Advanced printer features (such as double sided pages) are not the function
of the OS ...
but rather that of the printer software. Most printer mfgrs, in their
desire to sell new printers, have not updated their software for older
printers to work with XP. WinXP does provide basic printer functions for
many printers so that, at least, they can print.

You'll have to go to the site of the printer mfgr and see if there is
updated XP software for your printer. If not, sometimes the Win2000
software will work. If not, well ... you're out of luck for the advanced
features you're used to, unless you purchase 'niche' software such as
FinePrint at http://www.fineprint.com/products/fineprint/index.html ... or
buy a new printer.
