2 problems and 2 questions

hello...
windows xp pro

problem #1

for some reason since last monday when i turn on my pc... after proper
booting the welcome screen come up and i have to click on icon with my
name to proceed farder...in
i didnt have to do this before..

question:
how i can come back to the previous setting?

problem #2


when i right click on any file to preform scan ...
the menu shows ..scan for viruses ...when i click on ....there is NO
action
i have antivirus program (symantec) installed ..and i could to this
before

question:

how i can fix this problem?

for problem 1
possibly another user account has been created.
go into control panel / user accounts, check there.delete othervaccount
created if need be.

Hi Natka,

To problem, go to Start - Run and type or paste "control userpasswords2"
(without the quotes).
Uncheck the box requiring a username and password, click apply - ok and
follow the prompts to set up a default logon.

Or

Install TweakUI, go to Logon - Autologon and check "Log on automatically at
system startup" then enter the users name.
