2 pop accts.--how can I show different "from" email addresses

Hello, I have a Yahoo account as well as a GoDaddy account. I have them both
set up in Outlook BUT the same info shows in the "From" box regardless of the
account I specify when sending a new message. I tried switching the default
account to no avail.

The Yahoo reply-to is, say, (e-mail address removed) but the GoDaddy is (e-mail address removed).
When I send an email from the Yahoo acct I want the Yahoo info to show in
the "From" field and the GoDaddy info show in the "From" field when I specify
that account.

This is driving me nuts. How can I do it? Thanks

When u compose a new email you should see a "From;" field. If you click
there you should see a drop down letting you choose the right account. If
the accounts appear to be identical you need to modify the properties of the
mail account (tools, accounts, mail, select account, properties, general
tab - first box) so that what shows up in the drop down is descriptive of
the account. In your case one account name may be "My yahoo account" and the
other "my goaddy account".

Thanks Steve but no.....

I thought of this, and enabled the "From" field. Here is what happens:

Say I want to send from the goDaddy account. I hit new and select "go daddy"
in the Accounts dropdown box. When I send the email, the "From" name is not
the godaddy account. It shows up as the Yahoo address. This is driving me
nuts.

I can't think of any reason why the Yahoo info shows up on the mail I send
from the Godaddy acct. I tried changing the default mail selection as well.

Any more ideas? Thanks

What version of Outlook?
