2 operating systems

can i have 2 operating systems on one hard drive
i've got windows xp home edition on my hard drive
can i put windows xp professional on my same hard drive
what they call a dual boot i think is that possible.

Yes you can but why would you want to dual boot with HE and Pro

If you are asking this question chances are you have not searched the web
and may have noticed most multi operating booting system provide no
information on dual booting the 2 xp operating system. Can not see any
reason unless you need them for development. To me this makes no logical
sense unless doing it for the exercise. I could see upgrading xp home to xp
pro but why would you want to dual boot them. Maybe your reason for
requiring it may make sense if you would post it.
