2 NIC's in XP

I am trying to use 2 network cards in my XP Pro machine.
I need one to be dedicated to my DSL line, so I can get
Primary Connections for P2P networks and one dedicated to
my home network so my other machines can access the
internet. The hardware sets up OK, but the problem is
that the connection speed for internet drops to 10Mbps
and home network can be 100Mps, but I cannot get BOTH
connections to be 100Mbps. Anyone out there have any
ideas? I've tried everything I can think of...

In my experience, 10Mbps is the normal connection speed for a DSL
line. In fact, actual download speeds from DSL are always less than
that. I don't think that anything's wrong.

Hi

The internet NIC connection won't need to be any higher than 10Mbps unless
you have a connection speed greater than that, if you have I'm very
jealous. :)

If you only have a 'normal' connection speed of up-to a couple of Mbps then
your NIC will work fine and your surfing speed won't suffer, you're limited
by your bandwidth not the NIC speed.

Bill
