1-I get a notice that there is a response for me and click on the hyperlink
but just see the forum page and not the specific question being addressed.
2- I tried to ask questions many times but got a 'pop' sound. Finally
realizing it was pop up blocker I unchecked to enable questions.
Doies anyone else have these problems? I am a member of many forums and this
(and) hotmail are the only ones that require pop up blockers disabled.

The first is a query for me and the second just the way 'things' are done I
guess.

1. You have to search for the question. Use a real newsreader, like Outlook
Express, for newsgroups.

2. Many web pages will not function properly if pop-ups are blocked. That's
just the way it is. Most pop-up blockers - including the one in IE - are
configurable to some extent.

Hello, On the web base newsreader sometimes it does not open to the message.
When this happens I type my user name in the "search for" box, in your case
"Grampy Pete". This will bring up all messages with your user name for this
group.
Hope you find your post.
I use two PopUp Blockers, find it useful when using the web base newsreader
to disable then enable after leaving the newsreader.
Take Care.
