1. What is the recommended kpbs I should use to burn a
cde to my hard drive?

2. What software should I use to bring my mp3's to the
same volume level?

Thanks

1. 96kbps
2. MusicMatch Jukebox has a builtin volume leveler when creating CDs.

That's some bad advice. CD quality tracks need to be at least 128kb/s or greater.

Not bad advice if you have bad ears. Most can not hear the difference
between 96 and 128, check and see for yourself. For the space difference I
would use 128 no matter what.

Jim, my advice is quoted from PCWorld magazine of 96kbps, which is near CD quality, 128kbps is CD quality. My ears could not tell the difference between the
two speeds. Unless you're a DJ, you must have better ears than I.
