2 Calendars in Personal Folder

M

Mike Sellers

Somehow I ended up with 2 calendars in my personal folder. How do I
consolidate and merge the two folders into one? When I had multiple
caontacts I merely copied the files then moved them to the Contacts folder I
wanted to retain then deleted the empty contacts folder I didn't want. I
can't seem to do this with Calendar. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

You might want to try exporting one of the Calendars out to a new .pst file
and them importing that Calendar back into the second Calendar. That should
allow you to combine the two calendars. Let me know if you need a more
detailed description on how to do this.

I hope this information is helpful.

Robert:
I'd appreciate details. I'm always afraid of losing data.

The steps to accomplish what I described are below.
To Export Calendar 2 out of Outlook:
1. Open Outlook.
2. Go to File -> Import and Export.
3. Select Export to a file and Click Next.
4. Select Personal Folder File (.pst) and Click Next.
5. Select Calendar 2 and Click Next.
6. Click Browse and on the File name line enter Calendar 2.pst and Click
Open.
7. Click Finish.
This process only moves a copy of the Calendar to a new .pst file and does
not remove anything from the current .pst file.

To Import Calendar 2 into Calendar 1:
1. Open Outlook.
2. Select the Calendar 1 folder that you want to merge the data into.
3. Go to File -> Import and Export.
4. Select Import from another program or file and Click Next.
5. Select Personal Folder File (.pst) and Click Next.
6. Click Browse and Select the Calendar 2.pst file and Click Open.
7. Select Do not import duplicates and then Click Next.
8. Select Calendar under where it says "Select the folder to import from:".
9. Select Import items into the current folder and Click Finish.
