Unless you can state your problem in a coherent manner
it's not likely you'll get any useful help

I installed SP2 on my PC then when i tried to access Worl of Warcraft it say I was missing SirectX 9.0c or my video driver was out of date.I wnet and try to do a system restore the same happened when i tried to get in the game.I redone my PC from scratch reinstalling XP Pro.Now I have no sound and that is when I noticed that I am missing 6.5 g on my drive.I did a defrag turn system restore to 3% and clean eccess program to my surprise I lost another 1% on my drive.

Report back what the drive size is in Windows Disk Management.
Also open Windows Explorer, select properties, what does it report
for 'Used', 'Free' space and 'Capacity'?

Ok that is a bit more clear.

First off, check to be sure your machine does not have a restore partition.
If it does not, then you simply partitioned it wrong.

At this point you might as well just start over and reinstall XP

Back up any data you have...then
boot from your CD...then delete *all* partitions

Now you should be able to recreate one partition which uses your entire
drive.

Once you have XP up and running, if you have no sound...that's a matter of
installing the sound card drivers.
they should be available on the manufacturers website

if you do not know what type of sound card is in your machine

a utility such as HWinfo32 should be able to ID it

Once you installed SP2 the old restore points became inaccessible. You
cannot restore accross versions of Windows.

You should be at SP2 so don't uninstall that. Do you have data files that
can be moved to a second hard drive? You can easily add another hard drive,
either internal or external for your data files. XP itself should take
about 2GB.

If you are missing DirectX 9.0c then you can download and install it from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...38-DB71-4C1B-BC6A-9B6652CD92A3&displaylang=en

You can get the latest video driver from the video card manufacturer's
website.

Reinstalling Windows should not be necessary.

Ok 'JS" i did reload XP and it worked I got all my space back.Tkx a ton.For
your last post I already did in a differant post sry not good at this. For the
sound someone mention "hwinfo32" can this be clarify because i dont
