1635 patch package error

Hi,
Im getting this error message and the resolution you
presented from the KB article requires un/intallation of
Plus! But I don't have it from my programs list, verified
under add/remove programs. Do you hav an alternative
solution? Or do I just delete the damaged registry enries.

In this case make sure you delete the registry and install and reinstall the Windows XP Plus

That's the problem I never installed the Plus! and I don't
have an installer of that software. Is there a way to
solve the problem without having that program installed?
