16 bit windows subsystem

I am trying to load the terminal services client on my
home pc - Windows/2000 professional so I can dial into
work. It begins to load and I get 16 bit Windows Subsystem

SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\VirgualDeviceDrivers.
VDD. Virtual Device Driver format in the registry is
invalid. Choose close to terminate application.

I have ntfs. I have tried the 16 bit version of terminal
services client with the same message.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

I will try that when I get home. I see it's for XP and
I'm running 2000. Our terminal server at work is 2000
Server.

Thanks for the hint

I was having the exact same problem today on one of my machines. It
was the same error message and I was so frustrated I was close to
using percussive debugging on the machine. But I just clicked ignore
and it went ahead with the install and seems to be working fine. I
think my problem was some changes I made to the client computers
registry last week when I had to manually uninstall Notron Antivirus.
I am not an expert but it worked for me...

So by disabling Norton Antivirus you were able to get
things to work right? Odd...
