When I tried to install the software from the CD for a new Benq LCD
Monitor, this is what comes up:

16 bit Windows Subsystem
C:\Windows\System 32\Auto Exec.Nt.
The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows
Applications.

You have the option to close or ignore. But the ignore option does not
work. Use XP Home with Service Pack 2 and the latest updates.
This also comes up when we try to install quite a few kids games from
CD'S as well.

Thank you for the help.

Tried the following and this is what comes up and does not let me get
any further:

Destination is not a directory: c:\windows\system32\config.nt

What next?

Thank you,

Warren

Hi

Try copying the config.nt file from the windows\repair folder to the
windows\system32 folder.
