16 bit windows subsystem error?

When I try running a game from a cd rom ,"The system file is not suitable for
running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications" And thats as far as I can
get it won't let me run the game?

Frank,
Ive spent a month trying to get into a dos program that worked before I
installed the alarm zone. You have to go to your system 32 file. The link
microsoft gives is very useful but doesn't tell you everything.
go to explorer--- find the system 32 folder first and see if Autoexct,
config, command is there. If not then go to start click search and look for
them. Once you locate the one that is missing (mine was the Autoexc.nt) copy
and paste it in the 32 folder. then restart your computer. It was the
greatest thing to get back into my program. Hope that helps!!!
