16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem

When I start up my computer a message of
C:\WINDOWS\System32\rundll32.ex
The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction
CS:0532 IP:16d5 OP:ff ff 7f 00 00 Choose 'Close' to terminate the application
This also happens when I try to open some other programs. I just want to know if anyone can help me with this problem
