16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem

Every 30 seconds, a window pops up from the 16 bit MS-DOS
Subsystem, referring to: 'surte.exe' It states:

The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction.
Then a line of numbers: CS: 053c IP: 0182 OP: 63 75 73 28
29.
It ends with: Choose 'Close' to terminate the
application.

No matter how many times I click 'Close', the same
message pops up 30 seconds later. If I don't
click 'Close', it multiplies rapidly, and I can't right
click on the taskbar to close the whole group at once. I
have to keep clicking 'Close' repeatedly until it all
goes away. Then it keeps popping up every 30 seconds
again. HELP! This is bugging the heck out of me.
